Scenario: Strategic Assessment & Development Management
Location: Chatswood
Situation
Chatswood RSL sought to use their property assets to enable a redevelopment of the RSL, while maximising value in a long-term income stream or a development profit share.
It was identified that a collaboration with a Joint Venture (JV) partner was the best strategy to deliver a development & investment outcome for the RSL.
Task
Understand client requirements
Evaluate Town Planning & Valuation advice on potential FSR upside
Provide strategic advice to the Club to unlock maximum value through their property asset
Undertake a JV EOI and Evaluation after maximum value has been added
Action
Undertake a comprehensive review of the planning and development controls, which lead to a strategy to unlock double the development volume and value for the Club.
Having our strategy supported by the Club we have appointed a consultant team to prepare a Concept DA.
